A Penny for Your Thoughts Foundation was founded in 2020 by Alyssa Kimbrough, LCSW. The goal of APFYT is to uplift, inspire, and bring hope to people through kind acts of service with an emphasis on the mental health of women and children.

 

Here is a little bit of what we have been up to:

 

We created "Crystal's Promise" grief bags for children that have experienced trauma.

 

We hosted a "Sip n Sew" for a cause to help lessen food insecurity in a high school in Newark, NJ.

 

We created the "Madden Family Scholarship Fund" and donated Amazon wishlist items to a high school senior on their way to college.
